The Fiordland Hotel Motel is situated on four acres of parkland overlooking Te Anau, in a tranquil garden setting. The majority of our rooms have a picturesque, panoramic, million dollar view of the lake, mountains and the rural landscape, yet it is only an easy walking distance to the shores of Lake Te Anau and the town centre.

With 94 rooms, we can offer a wide range of accommodation to suit every budget. The hotel has a choice of hotel regency, standard hotel or our retro budget hotel rooms. All include TV, direct dial phone, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, en suite bathrooms with the choice of shower over bath or wet floor shower.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and presented to the highest quality of cleanliness and condition. “A room for all needs!” Rates range from $60 to $120 NZD.

Our 16 studio motel units all have cooking facilities, with en suite bathrooms, phone, fridge, TV and tea and coffee. We have four new disability units all finished to a very high standard which can also be used as a studio motel unit. These consist of wet floor shower in en suite bathroom, fridge, TV, tea and coffee, but no cooking facilities. We also have four budget studio motel units with en suites, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and fridge. We have a communal kitchen available 24/7 to all of our guests for any of their cooking needs. Away from our main complex (but only one street back from the lake front) are five two-bedroom family motel units. These units consist of a queen bed in one bedroom, 2x single beds or queen bed in the other bedroom, fold out divan if needed in the lounge, full cooking facilities, en suite bathrooms, TV and DVD player in the large spacious lounge and only a three minute walk to the town centre.
